1. Information Collection and Use

Kids Mode - Kids Lock App is designed to run locally on your device. We respect the privacy of our users, especially children.

We do not collect, store, or transmit any Personal Data. Any settings, configuration, and app restrictions are stored locally on your device and are never uploaded to any external servers.

2. Device Permissions Required

To perform its core security functions, the Service requires specific permissions on your Android device. These permissions are used exclusively to secure the child environment and block unauthorized navigation:

• Accessibility Service Permission: This Service utilizes the Accessibility API solely to monitor active screen packages and block access to unapproved applications by automatically redirecting the user back to the secure Kids Mode home screen. This permission does not collect or transmit any data offline or online.
• Device Administrator Permission: This permission is requested to prevent the child from uninstalling or force-stopping the app to bypass parental locks. We do not use this permission for any other administrator activities.
• System Alert Window (Draw Over Other Apps): Required to show the Kids Mode lock screen overlay when time limits expire or unauthorized apps are launched.
• Read App Usage Stats: Needed locally to generate the screen time reports visible on the parental control dashboard.

3. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

Our Service is designed for use under parental guidance. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Because our application does not collect, record, or transmit any personally identifiable information from children, we do not share children's data with third parties.

4. Third-Party Services

We may use third-party Service Providers to monitor and analyze the use of our Service:

• Google Play Services: Used to manage app distribution and check licensing. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for information on how Google manages installation data.
